Main subjects chosen for ASEAN – Russia Business Forum

The ASEAN — Russia Business Forum, which will meet in Sochi on 19 May, will focus on growth drivers in cooperation between the partner states and Russia's export potential, says a press release from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The event will consist of two panel discussions. One of them, titled "Towards New ASEAN — Russia Economic Partnership: Essential Tools, Mechanisms and Drivers of Growth," will be moderated by Russian First Deputy Minister of Economic Development Alexey Likhachev.

The other panel discussion, titled "Russia's Export Potential: Implementing Strategic Priorities of ASEAN Member States," will be moderated by Russian Export Centre CEO Pyotr Fradkov and Adviser for Multilateral Organisations and G20 at the World Bank Group Gilles Alfandari.

The plenary session titled "ASEAN — Russia Partnership in the New Integration Architecture of the Asia-Pacific Region: Opportunities for Businesses" will be moderated by President of Russia's Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sergey Katyrin.

A news conference will be held following the ASEAN — Russia Business Forum.
