Russian and ASEAN agriculture officials meet in Moscow

On 7 April 2016, the First ASEAN — Russia Senior Officials' Meeting on Agriculture at the level of deputy ministers took place in Moscow. Russia was represented by Deputy Agriculture Minister Sergei Levin.

The participants addressed current issues related to cooperation in agriculture and reviewed the implementation of the Work Programme for ASEAN — Russia Cooperation on Agriculture and Food Security for 2013-2015 and approved a new programme for 2016-2020.

The next meeting in this format will take place in 2017.
