Russia plans new transportation projects in Southeast Asia
Russian Railways (RZD) plans to launch new transportation projects in Vietnam, Indonesia and other Southeast Asian countries, Russian Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov told journalists during the ASEAN — Russia Summit.
"Overall, we (RZD) are also considering launching additional projects with Indonesian Railways and not only with them. We are preparing an agreement on the further development of Vietnam's railway infrastructure," Mr Sokolov said.
The Russian Transport Minister believes there are good perspectives in Southeast Asian countries, especially in light of the exchange rate differences.
